A stunning Italian 800 Silver fountain from Palermo on a 19th century Terra Cotta base. The fountain is raised by an octagonal Terra Cotta stepped base with a beautiful rich foliate design. The solid 800 Silver fountain also displays a striking octagonal border with finely chased floral and foliate movements. At the rim are charming and intricately detailed deer and wild boar. Leading up a tree trunk shaped octagonal central support with fine foliate designs is the top tier. At the center is a most impressive and finely detailed winged cherub draped in a wonderfully executed flowing fabric holding a jug at his side and a grape cluster in front of him.
