A sensational large scale Italian late 18th early 19th century patinated gilt metal and crystal chandelier. The two tier, eighteen arm chandelier has an S scrolled designed open cage frame. Elegant array of swaging crystal garlands drape from arm to arm as well as an X design at the center and top portions of the chandelier. With two tiers of arms, which end with C scrolled designs, and open tulip shaped candle cups decorated with crystal beads.
