A charming Italian late 19th century white Carrara marble statue, signed Biggi Fausto, Carrara. The statue is of an adorable little girl in formal attire cradling her eggs with her dress, while having dropped and broken one at her feet. The little girl, standing next to a small tree stump, is wearing buckled shoes and socks, and a lace ruffled collar and sleeves. The back of her dress is buttoned up with a large bow at her waist.
