An elegant and very high quality French 19th century Louis XVI st. Mahogany, ormolu, and Sarrancolin marble center table possibly by Maison Krieger. The table is raised by slender square tapered legs with fine fitted foliate sabots and recessed designs with richly chased floral mounts. Above each leg are finely detailed pierced ormolu mounts of charming urns with rams head and flowers flanking charming swaging fabrics and floral garlands tied with bows and repeated at the sides and back. The straight apron is centered by a stunning richly chased ormolu mount of a bow and quiver with the eternal flame and arrows tied with an exceptional floral wreath and intertwining berried laurel branches. Above is the original Sarrancolin marble top fitted within a fine beaded and mottled border with a lovely and very unique wrap around ormolu band of intertwining ivy. — Read Less
