A handsome French 19th century Louis XV st. tulipwood, kingwood and ormolu mounted cabinet. This three door cabinet is raised on a scalloped base with an ormolu moulded band at the frieze. The central door with a silk interior curtain has an ormolu lattice designed grill with an ormolu border, hinges and ormolu keyhole escutcheon. Each side door is decorated with a lovely parquetry design, continued at each side, and with the same hardware. The doors open to reveal interior adjustable shelves. Above is a moulded ormolu band accented at each canted corner with pierced foliate ormolu mounts within ormolu trim. All below the original impressive and thick Bréche Violette marble top.
