A very attractive English 19th century cherry wood dessert console. The console is raised on an angular base decorated with a giltwood Rai-de-Coeur border. Four giltwood columns with carvings of acanthus leaves support the top and the original mirror plate adorns the back panel. At the frieze are intricately hand painted rectangular Sèvres porcelain plaques on the sides with an "Oeil de Boeuf' central design all with giltwood borders. Above is another Rai-de-Coeur giltwood border supporting the mottled edge angular white Carrara marble top. All original gilt and mirror plate. — Read Less
