A very decorative and most unusual Italian mid 19th century rectangular giltwood and green polychrome mirror. The frame has a beaded outer border with a fluted central design. At the four corners are large carved gilt acanthus leaves leading to the inner frame. The inner frame is decorated by wonderful and richly carved fruits of pears, apples and pomegranates amidst green patinated polychrome leaves.
