A stunning and extremely high quality Italian early 19th century Louis XV st. giltwood and Brèche d'Alep marble center table. The table is raised by spectacular cabriole legs with beautiful scrolled feet, impressive scrolled foliate designs, and exquisitely carved blooming flowers at the corners. The legs are connected by a superb scalloped stretcher with exceptional scrolled movements adorned with a luxuriant finely carved array of acanthus leaves and foliate designs centering and outstanding floral finial. The frieze displays additional wonderfully executed luxuriant scrolled foliate designs amidst palmettes with remarkable curved elements at each corner. Above is the original beautiful Brèche d'Alep marble top which repeats the wonderful shape of the table below and displays a fine mottled border. — Read Less
