A sensational and extremely decorative Italian 19th century Specimen marble and Giltwood center/dining table. The table is raised on a Baroque st. giltwood base with two baluster shaped supports decorating with scrolled acanthus leaves and gadroon shapes, and joined by a wonderful giltwood stretched centered by a foliate finial. Above lays the exceptional inlaid top with a central rectangular panel of inlaid hexagons of various marbles bordered by a band of oblong oval shaped marbles and surrounded by a band of parquetry inlay at a diagonal of the same various specimen marbles. The top is finished with a very decorative Greek key designed band with sides uniquely inlaid with diamond shapes flanking two triangular shapes with a central circle.
