An impressive and high quality Italian 19th century Neo-Classical st. Walnut, Kingwood, Charmwood and Maple cabinet/vitrine in the manner of Maggiolini. The cabinet is raised on eight square tapered supports with elegant Maple wood inlays. Above the straight frieze and at each end are two drawers without a crossbar, each having their original locks. The drawers are below a door with a recessed inlaid panel with exceptional Maple wood inlays of cornucopias and floral Rinceaux patterns on a quarter veneered Kingwood panel. The doors and drawers which are inlaid in the same manner flank the glass fitted vitrine doors with three shelves inside. Above, the mottled powerful top crown displays additional fine marquetry across the top and along each side set on a Charmwood background.
