A spectacular and most unique Italian 19th century Louis XV st. Olivewood, Ormolu and Glass buffet. This stunning buffet is raised by four block legs concealed by arbalest shaped aprons along the front, and both curved sides, trimmed at the top with an Ormolu Rai-de-Coeur border. The buffet is centered by double doors veneered with two magnificent burl Olivewood panels, trimmed by a fine border of ribbon tied reeds and contrasted Olivewood trim. Each door is flanked by richly chased Ormolu foliate corner mounts and reeded chutes. The central doors are flanked by side compartments containing two shelves, and enclosed by quarter rounded doors with original Glass panes. Right above the doors is an Ormolu Les Oves border accentuated with alternating rosettes below the spectacular top. The book matched burl Olivewood veneered top is shaped to follow the contour of the cabinet, and is trimmed with a contrasting Olivewood band. — Read Less
