Each impressive lamp is raised by a mottled rectangular faux Porphyry base and supported on four Ormolu ball feet. Atop the mottled base is a patinated Bronze statue of a rearing stallion with Napoleon adorned in formal battle attire, wearing his signature "en bataille" hat and pointing out to direct his men in the midst of a battle.
