An elegant pair of Northern Italian mid 18th century walnut chests. The pair are raised by circular fluted tapered legs. The frieze has a central relief surrounded by a bow and is flanked by a rosette block at each end. The two deep drawers have a recessed mottled central panel with half carved rosettes. Each drawer retains their original patinated iron handles. All the edges of the chests are decorated with an elegant intertwined carved design. Rich and warm patina throughout. — Read Less
