A sensational and large scaled pair of Japanese 19th century Imari porcelain and French 19th century Louis XVI st. Ormolu mounted vases. The pair of vases are raised by square Ormolu bases with concave corners. Each side of the bases have recessed panels with decorative foliate scrolled designs. Above are beaded bands below a circular Ormolu socle with cabochons all around. The outstanding tall slender elegantly curved Imari porcelain vases display beautiful scrolled foliate designs and most decorative traditional patterns, and are also finished on the inside with lovely blooming flowers. The top rim of the vases are elegantly decorated with an impressive Ormolu bands with the same circular designs of cabochons and top beaded trims. — Read Less
