A truly stunning and most impressive pair of Italian 19th century illuminated Alabaster columns and urns. Each wonderfully electrified column is lit from within and is raised on a ten-sided plinth below a mottled band and the gracefully tapered central column. The shaft is accented by two parallel bands of pierced grape vines and grape cluster. The mottled edge top capital supports the smaller scale socle above which also displays mottled edges at its plinth and capital. Above the socle is a finely detailed urn with a reeded body and accented at the rim with overflowing grape vines and grape clusters. — Read Less
