A striking and very unique pair of French 19th century Régence st. late 19th/turn of the century ormolu, mirror and glass side tables/vitrines/bedside chests with display tops. Each beautiful one door one drawer vitrine is raised by beautiful scrolled gadroon like supports below finely fluted wrap around bands below most decorative pierced scrolled foliate movements. At the center is the single door decorated with a remarkable central ormolu mount of lovely scrolled movements with richly chased blooming flowers and draped beaded garlands all framed within a lovely wrap around mottled foliate band and which opens to reveal the mirrored interior. Each side displays glass panes framed within a similar fine foliate wrap around band. Above the door is the single drawer also displaying a fine wrap around foliate band centering additional most decorative scrolled foliate designs and a lovely floral pull which opens to reveal the mirrored interior. Above is a glass pane framed within an exceptional mottled wrap around palmette band providing a wonderful view into the mirrored drawer with a beautiful finely detailed pierced scrolled back plate and an exceptional central seashell. — Read Less
