A most impressive pair of French 19th century Neo-Greek st. Ormolu and patinated Bronze pedestals, attributed to G. Servant, France, Circa 1880. Each handsome pedestal is raised by three pierced straight patinated Bronze legs above cabriole shaped supports with paw feet and connected by a scrolling Ormolu stretcher with a pierced circular reserve. Each leg is decorated with a central reserve of swaging beaded garlands and scrolling foliate designs at the top of each leg. Flanking each leg are patinated Bronze mythological creatures with a gilt accented bar in their teeth and gilt accented palmette decorations below. The circular top is supported by an Ormolu stepped platform with Ormolu dentil patterns.
