A striking and most elegantly pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. Kingwood, Tulipwood and ormolu cabinet vitrines. Each two door vitrine is raised by fine block feet with delicate rosettes at each cut corner flanking the scalloped frieze adorned with beautiful pierced foliate ormolu mounts. The doors retain their original glass panes framed within charming wrap around foliate ormolu borders with lovely rosettes at each corner and a foliate keyhole escutcheon. The doors open to reveal three shelves and the original hardware and are flanked by cut corners with remarkable richly chased foliate ormolu mounts tied with a charming ribbon. The sides display a beautiful butterfly veneered design showcasing the wood grain with additional block rosettes above and a fine pierced foliate ormolu mount at the center and the top displaying a fine French polished finish. — Read Less
