A most elegant pair of Italian 18th century Venetian st. patinated wood, faux tortoise shell and giltwood floor lamps. Each tall floor lamp is raised by a fine circular composite stone base with a lovely fluted design. The central wooden supports display lovely painted cobalt blue bases with period tassels leading up to beautiful fluted, faux tortoise shell and giltwood designs. The octagonal lanterns above display reeded gilt socles and scrolled foliate designs leading up each side with charming richly carved seashells. The lanterns retain all of their original frosted glass panes each framed within wonderfully executed faux tortoise shell borders with additional scrolled movements, swaging berried laurel garlands and lovely pierced tops.
