An elegant and high quality French early 19th century Louis XVI st. Kingwood, Tulipwood, Charmwood, ormolu and Sèvres porcelain cabinet vitrine. The four door vitrine is raised by fine block feet with exceptional foliate ormolu sabots flanking the arbalest shaped frieze decorated with a striking central pierced foliate ormolu mount. The two lower doors display beautiful and most charming fitted Sèvres porcelain plaques with finely detailed winged cherubs playing in the clouds framed in a lovely blue and gold tooled border and wrap around foliate ormolu band set on a quarter veneered background with an inlaid charmwood border. The doors above retain their original glass panes framed within a beautiful scalloped shaped border with a fine ormolu band and an interlocking design with additional richly chased mounts of blooming flowers and a striking foliate mount leading up the center. The doors open to reveal two original adjustable shelves and all original hardware. The sides each display beautiful butterfly veneered panels showcasing the wood grain and centered by a finely detailed foliate ormolu mount in a rich satin and burnished finish. The corners also display striking pierced foliate ormolu mounts while the top crown displays a unique and most decorative fluted band with charming wrap around laurel branches and blooming floral rosettes.
