A most charming and high quality French 19th century ormolu, patinated bronze and marble statue signed HOUDON. The statue is raised by a circular mottled Vert Antique marble base with a decorative ormolu beaded band. The wonderfully executed statue is of a young winged Cupid draped in a patinated bronze fabric and quiver while holding his bow taught.
