An outstanding French 19th century Neo-Classical st. Rouge Griotte marble and ormolu tazza, attributed to F. Barbedienne. The urn is raised by a square Rouge Griotte marble base with a bottom ormolu border. The ormolu socle pedestal displays a mottled stepped design and fine foliate movements below a reeded pattern.
