A spectacular French 19th century Neo-Classical st. mahogany and ormolu dining table with five extensions. The impressive table is raised by fine bun feet with their original casters. The handsome central support displays a square shape with concave sides and a curved tapered pedestal adorned with stunning and richly chased rams head and elegant palmettes. When the extensions are removed the table is transformed to a striking oval shape with a beautiful wrap around apron decorated by exceptional ormolu rosettes. Each extension measures 24” long by 62” wide. Fully extended the table opens to a most impressive 14 feet 6 inches in length.
