A beautiful and very high quality French 19th century Louis XVI st. Belle Époque period ormolu and tole bouillotte lamp. The three arm lamp is raised by a circular base with fine block rosettes, delicate wrap around twisted ribbons, and striking richly chased acanthus leaves. The most decorative pierced central fut displays handsome hoof feet and lovely foliate designs adorned with intricately detailed swaging berried laurel garlands. The elegantly curved arms each display lovely laurel designs with a wrap around berried laurel band at the bobeches and a lovely baluster shaped fluted foliate candle cup. The lamp retains its original tole shade with fine gilt accent swaging garlands with an eternal flame finial above and elegant fletching to adjust the height of the shade. — Read Less
