A magnificent and most elegant French 19th century Louis XV st. Walnut, giltwood, and Brèche d'Alep marble center table. The rectangular table is raised by beautiful cabriole legs with fine topie shaped feet and richly carved giltwood acanthus leaves with a delicate fillet leading up to exquisite scrolled gadroon designed foliate corner designs. Each leg is connected by a remarkable stretcher with beautiful scrolled designs and giltwood fillets leading to the superb central foliate seashell reserve. Additional elegant giltwood fillets lead up each leg and along the border of the scalloped shaped frieze centered by an impressive finely detailed carved giltwood reserve with lovely scrolled foliate movements.
