A most elegant and large scale French 19th century cobalt blue Sèvres porcelain and ormolu lamp. The lamp is raised by a square ormolu base with a central rosette flanked by laurel branches. Above is the socle with an intertwined design with beads toped by rosettes. The baluster shaped cobalt blue porcelain vase is richly decorated by a tied ormolu swaging drape held by a 'C' scrolled acanthus leaf on each side.
