An impressive and statement making European 19th century Cast Iron cannon. This handsome cannon displays thick mounting shafts on both sides and a pierced cascabel (hoop) at the rear with markings on the top. The mottled cap on the rear has a decorative lions bust that serves as the fuse support. Moving down the body of the cannon and passing the mounting shafts, is a distinctive badge of crossing flaming torches before the open firing end. Wonderful original patina throughout. — Read Less
