An exquisite and extremely decorative Continental 19th century Mecca and Brass Boulle tilt top side table. This wonderful side table is raised by an elegant Mecca tripod shaped base with three scrolled foliate decorated legs. Above is a spiral designed fut in a stunning burnished finish which raises the round and tiltable Boulle top. The top with a brown Tortoiseshell and Brass inlay showcases exceptional decorations of Asian figures amidst foliate scrolls and animals including a cow and squirrels. The top is surrounded by a finely chased Ormolu gallery with a Coeur de Rai design.
