An elegant and high quality Baltic 19th century Ormolu and cut glass chandelier. This stunning twelve arm twelve light chandelier is centered by an array of prism cut and oval Glass pendants hanging from a circular two level band. Each 'S' scrolled Ormolu arm displays a lovely acanthus leaf design leading to an exceptional pierced Ormolu bobeche with prism cut Glass pendants hanging below. All twelve arms are mounted on a six sided pierced Ormolu frame with curved recessed sides. There are six Glass palmette shaped sprays with hanging Ormolu rosettes and prism cut glass pendants beneath. Inside the pierced Ormolu frame is a circular Ormolu band with three vertical Ormolu bands that lead up with swaging glass garlands to the exquisite top crown. The top crown consists of an outer and inner Ormolu band configuration with a large collection of diamond, prism, and oval cut Glass pendants along with long Glass garlands hanging on all sides.
