An exceptional and very decorative pair of Italian 19th century walnut and Pietra Dura consoles/center table from Tuscany. Each console is raised by eleven striking baluster shaped turned walnut legs each connected by a fine mottled stretcher and displaying elegant topie shaped feet. The two consoles can be pushed together to create a most impressive and large scale center table. Above is an impressive and most decorative array of inlaid marbles and onyx including Vert de Patricia, Alabastro Fiorito, Rouge Royal, Nero Antico, Siena and Portoro to name a few. The marbles are framed within a most elegant black Belgian marble fillet and fine walnut border.
