A spectacular and large scale 19th century Anglo-Indian octagon shaped coffee table. The table with an extensive and highly detailed marquetry throughout is primarily in Rosewood and ivory inlay but also with a wide array of exotic woods. The coffee table is raised by cabriole legs with inlaid ivory accents. The Rosewood apron is inlaid with ivory palmette rosettes.
