Lucio Correa Morales ( 1852 – 1923 ) was an Argentine sculptor , 1 considered the pioneer of sculpture in his country. In 1874 he was able to travel to Florence , where he studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts until he returned to Argentina in 1882, when he exhibited his first two relevant works: Indio Pampa and El RÃo de la Silver , praised by critics.
