Giulio Monteverde

Giulio Monteverde (1837 born in Bistagno – 1917 died in Rome)
One of the most eminent Italian masters and renowned Italian naturalist sculptor. He studied at the Accademia di belle arti in Rome, where he later became a professor and received numerous awards for his work. Monteverde became a Senator in 1889 and also was awarded the highest medal of honor in France, Officier de la Légion d’honneur in 1878.
