André Rivaud was a French engraver and designer born in Paris on 6th April 1892. He partook in many exhibitions including La Nationale, Les Salons d'Automne et des Tuileries and the Artistes Décorateur as well as in Athens, Barcelona and Tokyo. He also obtained the Prix colonial des Arts Decoratifs in 1922.
