A striking and extremely decorative pair of French 19th century Neo-Classical st. Belle Époque period patinated bronze, ormolu, and Vert de Patricia marble urns possibly by Ferdinand Barbedienne. Each urn is raised by an elegant square Vert de Patricia marble base with concave corners and a fine bottom ormolu fillet. The socle shaped pedestal supports display a beautiful spiral fluted design will an alternating patinated bronze and ormolu design. The bodies display lovely reeded designs with finely detailed wrap around personages dancing and playing musical instruments below a striking wrap around interlocking geometric band. At each side are striking handles with richly chased swans flanking the elegantly curved necks decorated with intricately detailed vines below a floral and mottled band at the rim. — Read Less
