A remarkable and unique Italian 18th century Louis XIV period mecca and patinated mirror and marble console from a Genovese Carpenteria. The mirror is raised on a slim faux marble painted plinth with moulded borders. Above is the built in console with demi lune protruding Campan Vert marble top with white Carrara marble border. The shelf is raised by a patinated column with a foliate mecca design, top rosette and scrolls, flanked by fluted sides with mecca chandelles. The original arched mirror has carved foliate mecca border and blue faux marble bottom sides. Above is the straight capitol with mecca foliate garlands and scrolls throughout that continue down each side. All original mecca and patina. — Read Less
