A handsome French 19th century Transitional st. Tulipwood and Ormolu cabinet vitrine. The cabinet is raised by richly decorated cabriole legs with pierced ormolu sabots and additional top ormolu mounts. Each mount is decorated by foliate scrolls and flanks the scalloped shaped frieze with a central pierced ormolu mount. Above are the three quarter veneered doors with the central door displaying it's original glass pane and the outer doors finished with decorative wire. The interiors offers adjustable shelving throughout. The concave shaped crown has a decorative Ormolu reeded band with overlapping and intertwined ribbons all below the top mottled ormolu band.
