A stunning and extremely high quality pair of Italian 19th century Louis XVI st. Alabaster columns and urns. The columns are raised by an octagonal base and socle pedestal. The circular central support displays most decorative spiraled patterns each moving in opposite directions and centered by striking and finely sculpted foliate band. The magnificent urn above is raised by a square base with cut corners and a socle pedestal with a foliate and oval design. At the body are large rich acanthus leave and exquisitely detailed flowers flanked by charming finely sculpted winged cherubs. The neck displays a beautiful fluted and beaded pattern with a most decorative Les Oves designed rim.
