A most handsome Italian 18th century Louis XIV st. walnut and marble specimen center table. The table is raised by impressive and richly carved square tapered legs with detailed scrolled, foliate and lattice designs. The top of each legs displays wonderful capital like designs with scrolled movements and impressive masks. The straight apron displays a decorative interlocking and foliate band. Above, framed within a walnut border is the striking array of fitted square cut marble specimens including Porphyry, Rouge Griotte, Sienna and Vert Patricia to name only a few.
