A magnificent Belgian 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu lantern, signed H. Luppens & Cie, Bruxelles, Bronzes d'Art. The open cage lantern has a berried acanthus leaf inverted finial at the bottom. The top band has a pierced cross and o design within a beaded trim. Four very impressive ram heads accents are joined by a swaging foliate garland. A triangular linked central chain is adorned with oval glass with a central light. Four additional foliate designed chains join the base to the top crown. The top is decorated with spray of ormolu foliate and acanthus leaves.
