A stunning Italian early 18th century ebonized fruitwood and Verre Églomisé small scale Baroque specimen cabinet. Raised on bun feet with diamond shaped ivory inlays on the sides. At the center is recessed parquetry with facing mirrors and ormolu maiden mounts above. A multitude of drawers decorated with wonderfully executed Verre Églomisé façades, resembling marble and semi precious stones, and lion heads brass pulls

The name is derived from the 18th century French decorator and art-dealer Jean-Baptiste Glomy (1711–1786), who was responsible for its revival.
