A very attractive pair of Italian 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated and giltwood cabinets. Each cabinet is raised by giltwood topie shaped feet topped with giltwood rosette blocks and acanthus leaf design elements. The bottom frieze is decorated by a giltwood tied wheat border that continues to each concave side, that has an open shelf. At the center is a glass door, with a pleated blue drapery, within a giltwood Rai-de -Coeur border and opens to reveal an interior shelf. Giltwood acanthus leaf design accent the top frieze amidst Vitruvian scroll, twisted and foliate giltwood borders. At the side edges are giltwood fluted designs topped with a rosette block. All below the impressive marble top that follows the contour of the cabinet.
